Biography

Ross is a Principal of OFS where he assists in identifying, evaluating and executing new investments as well as supports various portfolio company initiatives. Prior to OFS, Ross was an Executive Vice President with Cadence Bank, N.A., a regional middle market bank focused on the southeastern U.S. Ross was a founding member of Cadence’s management. While with Cadence, he founded the energy lending group and directed the Bank’s alternative investment activities.  Prior to joining Cadence Bank, Ross held a variety of roles over twelve years with Amegy Bank (formerly known as Southwest Bank of Texas), where he co-founded Amegy’s energy services lending group. While with Amegy he executed several billion dollars of middle market financings including buyouts, recapitalizations, mergers, acquisitions, capital expansions, and project financings. Ross currently serves on the boards of Pro Oilfield Services, Bold Production Services, Allied Power Group, Crystal Mountain Sel Sahara (Texas), a private mining concern, the Advisory Board of Cadence Bank, and the non-profit boards of the Ronald McDonald House of Houston and Crime Stoppers of Houston. He earned a B.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he was a four year letterman in men’s golf, and an MBA (finance emphasis) from Texas Tech University.
