Aaron is a C-suite executive with over 20 years of management experience primarily focused on finance and operations. He has deep experience restructuring and turning around distressed companies and has served in multiple leadership roles, including General Manager with direct profit and loss responsibility, Interim Chief Financial Officer, Head of Operations and Human Resources, Chief Restructuring Officer and Company Commander in the United States Army. He is well-versed at evaluating Executive Teams, working directly with Boards of Directors and advising, managing and negotiating with diverse Lender and Noteholder Groups in workout situations with companies ranging in size from $50million to $2 billion of annual revenue. His most recent work in the oil & gas industry includes working on the Energy XXI bankruptcy case where he is currently advising a group of ad hoc noteholders. He and his colleagues at Loughlin Management have provided expert reports regarding valuation of the operating entities as well as litigation support services. His industry experience includes oil and gas, defense and government contracting, print media, retail, telecommunications, television + radio broadcasting and textiles. Aaron has a Master’s in Business Administration, with honors, in Finance and Corporate Accounting from the University of Rochester’s Simon School. He also earned a Master’s of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri at Rolla (Missouri School of Mines) and has a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Aaron is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and has a Certification in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV). He is a former US Army officer and airborne ranger with deployments to Somalia and Haiti.
